Chavez Jr. vs Billy Lyell video

For those of you that want to see the whole thing.

I think it was another lack luster performance by Jr. He does throw a good right hand, left hook to the body and his upper cuts seem to be weapons now.

He showed better defense but did show lapses at times, especially the way he drops his left hand while throwing left hooks and on the inside.

His endurance was great and he went 12 rounds easily. I think Roach has improved the kid very much but I don't think he will ever be anything but a good fighter, nothing great.

His last name won't help him win fights or make him a better fighter than others. Canelo would crush him right now.

His endurance in the Duddy fight was much improved also. I think Ariza deserves the credit for that.

Still tough to go 10 rounds at that pace. He's in much better shape than he was before, Ariza and Roach have done well that.

He would murk Canelo now. Let's wait and see what they both do in the future though.
