    There’s something about Timothy..

He can box, no doubt about it. Twice 140lb WBC champion and now current WBC and WBO champion.

    Undefeated.

The top fighter in his division by virtue of the above.

On paper it’s all there, the next superstar of boxing.

    But there’s something about Timothy.

For all his achievements i just can’t get excited about watching him fight. The farce against Devon on Saturday night only goes to underline this problem.

Has HBO dropped one putting all their eggs in this basket?

Or is it just me who can’t see any star appeal with this guy? Perhaps it is, but the moment he’s beaten in the ring, then it’s all downhill for Timothy Bradley IMO.

he doesn't have KO power. When you watch a bradley fight you almost guaranteed it'll go to decision. I love tim he's one of my faves but his lack of a punch is not gonna help him to get to that star level.

I'm convinced that ti's the gloves he uses. I hate those goddamn gloves. They're so bulky and big that it makes it difficult to really punch like you're supposed to, so he has to loop just about everything.

      Reyes gloves should be mandated.

He's kinda 1 dimensional, but really great at it.

He's technically sound and very determined, but during the stretch he get's reckless if he can't find his target.

I think Mayweather would magnify this flaw.

HBO invested so much in the 140 division, probably hoping Ortiz would rise to the top but he flopped. Then im sure they were riding Alexander who has the style, the backdrop and the youth to be cashcow, but he flopped.

If Timothy Bradley beats Amir Khan, and i think he will, HBO will have lost out a little. No offence to Timothy Bradley, who has been doing what he has to do for years now and deserves every cent he earns without doubt. His style simply isnt everyones cup of tea.

I guess he just isn’t ‘box office’ in the true sense of the word.

For example, Ricky Hatton. Ok, not the best fighter in the world, but he brought a sense of razzle dazzle with him and genuine interest, not just from hardcore fans, but from the general public. This is what sells PPV.

Tim, I’m afraid, isn’t interesting enough. Great boxer though, hats off to him on that.

It's because there is nothing he does special. He is good at everything, but not special at any one thing. Fighters who become big are good at something that draws fans to them.

I just kept expecting Alexander to catch him with a hard counter shot. I mean the guy swings wide and leaves himself open... His style is very amateur.

But I give him credit for lots of heart.

But no way he can beat Amir Kahn.... I think anybody with good work straight up the middle will destory him.... He's hand made for Manny... Would take him out like he did Hatton.

I am convinced he is the next Hopkin. he resembles Hopkins: great tecnique, mental toughness, plays dirty, no KO power. IT's the guy you will love because comeday you will see his record and you're gonna say "this guy is tough".

Believe me Bradley is a genius of the sport... I am a boxer myself, I know how is fdifficult to be short, and Bradley is VERY short. the guy is skilled.

(even tough he'll lost to Khan).
