The bizarre thing is... I don't know if this is complete and utter ignorance on my part, because I don't really see it technically or otherwise. But I have a feeling that Chavez Jr is going to shock the world.

Remember how his father was accused of fighting "Tijuana cab drivers"...? Junior never had an amateur career. He's strong, he's got a great chin, and my gut feeling is he'll rise to the occasion, if presented.

Zbik is a very skilled technical fighter and has a lot of advantages over Chavez, speed, real experience, boxing ability and from what I have seen from him tactically pretty sharp. I dont think this will go well for Chavez jr and its a good possibility that he could get his ass schooled in this one. Main reason for that is the difference in technical levels of the opponents he has faced vs Zbik's abilities. Zbik will be coming off of quite a layoff tho so that will help him out. Still I think again they should take the foot off the gas and let him fight under Roach for another few fights.

I can't decide if Chaves Jr or Zbik is the biggest joke. They both suck, they are both overprotected and they are both a disgrace.

And Lol at the inactivity excuse... Billy Lyell is the type of fighter who a guy coming of a lay off fights.

Chavez Jr showed that he had more skill, power, reach, etc than Billy but I got to question his desire. Even if the layoff hurt him he should had done better against him. He was lucky that he didn't face a puncher or somebody faster cause as bad has Billy was he was reaching Jr.

Jr seems to me if he can't overwelm his oppponent and the opponent keeps comming he is going to fold right at the dotted lines
