Yeah, Bradley would be a huge step up in competition for Manny... are you serious? I disagree in this instance with Arum's remarks about building up the fight. Neither of these guys are big ticket sellers. Bradley can't sell out a 2,000 seat venue in his hometown and Alexander, while a draw in St. Louis, isn't a big draw outside of it.
I just don't see where the "buzz" for this fight was going to get any bigger. Plus, the division is so deep that this fight just sets up the winner and loser for other fights.
If both these guys were ticket sellers and it was a limited division with these 2 guys as heads and shoulders above it, then, I'd agree.

Plus, I think "building up the fight" can be overrated. Arum is trying to build up "Lopez-Gamboa" and all he is doing is making them both look more vulnerable in the meantime. I don't think that fight is any bigger now than it was a year ago and I think Lopez looks much worse now than he did a year ago.

that was last decade ago (dec 2009). now is january 2011 and Floyd did not know that the world is calling him to fight pac. he already stated that without boxing, he still can make millions this year. to cut it short, he is not going to fight this year (2011).
