kotelnik's head looked like it was ready to explode in the maidana fight. he won by a ****'s hair in that fight. khan got lesser punishment cause he chose to run. maidana destroys devon, easily.

OK let me get in here.

Firstly, don't give me no stats for that Maidana Kotelnik fight.

Maidana hit a lot fo glove which does not count. Sure he hit face too, but a lot on the gloves.

Kotlenik controlled him with a jab and accurate right.

Was it close? Hell yes, I think it was a SD?

However it could have gone either way from my memory, simply because Maidana threw at the gloves too much. He threw a lot of 1,2's over and over.

A youtube stream will not help, which I believe half of Boxing Scene use as their source for fights. You need a clear video and you can see it.

if he dont pull his punches and use his skills and box he should be able to beat maidana easy. if he had the heart and follow a gameplan it wouldnt be hard at all. i think maidana wins this if devons heart is really in question. if not devon wins by decision. similar to urango but i dont think he will get the knockout. he prob hold back

Maidana throws nothing but big SLOW powershots and has no jab this is going to be a one sided win for Alexander unless his trainer ****s it up for him

Maidana is one of those ****ers with a ****load of X-factor. you can pick out crap about him all day but when you step in front him all dat jab and slick **** goes out the window. Like of like Pac and Valero.

You know, I think if Devon and Maidana fight, it will be a classic case of will over skill.

Devon seemed not to want to mix it up with Bradley, and fought with a very scary gameplan. You think that will change against a fighter that can put him to sleep?

Devon does not have defense...Handspeed? Yes. Head movement? No. Foot speed/movement? Some, but not enought to get away from Maidana.

I think people see what Devon can be, and not what he is. He is a fast handed fighter, with many flaws in his game.

I think Maidana would walk him down, and KO him. Maidana doesn't just try and knock your head off with all wide punches (ala Urango). Maidana can, and often does come down the middle.

Anyway, I truely feel if Maidana can walk threw the storm of Khan for 12 rounds (after a body shot that only a select few get up from), he can damn sure walk threw, and get to Devon...

Also, Devon is a headhunter (never mixes his attack up), I think that will favor Maidana, not Devon.

i agree...but if im alexanders team i would get him a tune up before stepping in with maidana, going from undefeated to two straight losses wouldnt be good
