The serious reason I think Floyd avoids certain fighters

Floyd likes to beat people at their own games..

In Judah, he outflashed the flasher
Oscar, he out boxed the boxer
Hatton, he beat the inside fighter on the inside
Mosley, he out punched the puncher

the same reason he won't fight a volume puncher like williams or margarito, because that's not part of his game.

The same reason he won't fight Pacquiao, because he knows he can't outbrawl him.

If he outboxed the boxer, then he's an incredible boxer. If he beat inside fighter on the inside, then he's incredible on the inside, and so on..

Now if he's the best at all these things, and undefeated, then you can make the claim that he's the greatest of all time, because all you remember are his attributes.

50 years from now, when they match mayweather with the current PFP champ they can say, "oh there's no way pacquiao jr. could have beaten mayweather, he was the best boxer, the best on the inside, his footwork was too good, he was too fast..."

They would say: "He really didn't fight anybody dangerous, but with all those going for him, if he did, he would have won anyway."

Why do people still make pointless threads about him? And second of all why are you thinking of him? He's irrelevant to boxing now until he announces his next fight.

Floyd Mayweather has fought many types of fighters.

Manny Pacquiao only fights flat-footed, come forward, slow, one-dimensional fighters with poor defense like Ricky Hatton.

I could've sworn Wifebeater fought the Ricky Hatton, or was I dreaming ?

I don't, Corrales, one of his biggest wins, was a flat-footed, slow, one-dimensional fighter, hmm. That's the problem when you try to scrutinized PAC's cherry picking. Afterall, you *****s are quick to say PAC is just fighting Wifebeater's leftovers. I look at it more like, it's just PAC following Wifebeater's lead, hehe

Floyd didn't beat Hatton at his own game, he got help from the ref. If you're an inside fighter like Hatton and the ref won't let you fight your fight you're dome. Especially against a pot shot fighter like Floyd.

Floyd will never be irrelevant to boxing. Its funny you comment on every thread about him though. What is that? I say you should take a silent stance. You are looking for someone to join in bashing the thread starter.

Not to discredit his wins but they were all flat footed except Marquez.

A referee is not supposed to let a wrestling match transpire. He was putting his head in his chest but not throwing. Besides Floyd knocked his ass out so how did the ref help set up that left hook.
