McKees Rocks, where he's from, isn't a very friendly place, and Spit exemplifies the attitude for the area. He always tried to be the hard ass from the Rocks, regardless of his elevating fame. He didn't have a drug problem, just an "I want to be a bad ass" stigma.
He could compete with the lightweights/junior welter's out there, but he lacks the punch to put any of the big names down.
Since he's still pretty young, being in prison for 2-4 is going to hurt him, however he can come back strong and continue his career if he has his head on straight, hopefully.
