Now that the JWW picture is becoming clearer...

......how would Edwin Valero have done against the current crop of fighters in the division?

I would watch that over any other sporting event. Including a Overeem fight. Now, if you know me well then you know that's saying something.

Don't know how he would have dealt with Khan's size/ range or Lamont Peterson's inside game. I'd pick him to beat Kotelnik, one would think Kotelnik has the style to beat Valero but Valero didn't always pull straight back, he'd move side to side as we saw against DeMarco, so I'd comfortably pick him to beat Kotelnik based on that and activity. I'd also pick him to beat Alexander and I'd slightly lean towards him to beat Maidana. It's tough to say who'd win between him and Maidana because both are reckless, Maidana more so. As for Ortiz, all Valero has to do is survive the early rounds and the fights his, I'm certain he'll do that.

          That's all I could say.

Valero was in my opinion a raw, uncut diamond.

He couldve been a somebody but he killed his wife and committed suicide.
