Say What you Will About De La Hoya

...but Prime De la Hoya would have annihilated Bradley and Alexander in the same night, and still had time to dress up in drag at the after party.

**** I think even old Oscar has a chance to beat Bradley if he trained.

Not to start an argument or anything of the sort, but "DLH better than X in his prime" threads are really old and pointless. HE IS RETIRED!
Even I am the first to back him up as he is one of my favorite fighters I have been blessed to get to witness fight in my lifetime and I am the first to agree with most of these pro DLH views, the threads only invite speculation that leads to no ultimate conclusion and they just tend to piss people off.

Oscar at his best was a 147 fighter.

Can't really compare him to Bradley or Khan.

Now you can compare them to Chavez, Hatton, Tzyu and Meldrick Taylor.

WRONG! You young cats are ignorant. DLH's best years were at 135 and he started slowing down when he went up to 54, 47 were pretty good but not his best. But you dumbasses started watching boxing recently...

Dela Hoya was a big guy fighting between 135-147. He mostly had the advantage because his opponent were much smaller. He was a great fighter though. He's probably the best 10secs fighter because when that 10secs round ending warning bell ring, Oscar was coming for you.

Oscar's age 24-29 as a WW. His prime years douche.

                  He didn't slow down ******.

He fought better fighters so he had a harder time.

He looked s good at 135 because of the size advantage and competition.
