The guy who referred to Devon Alexander as a "b^tch" is actually a short, overweight rapper, not the former world champion.

Devon is mentally weak when it comes to adversity. I saw it in the Kotelnik fight, and knew Bradley would beat him.

      Reminds me of Zab.

i think alexander realized that bradley wasn't going anywhere and wasn't showing any signs of slowing down his pressure and alexander either thought he would try and milk it and have a point taken away from bradley or that he was ahead on the cards and didn't care if the fight was stopped in the way it was stopped.

to say it another way, i think alexander didn't want to fight on, because the ringside dr gave him multiple chances to not only open his eyes but to make a decision whether he wanted to go on or not, and he chose not to.

i like alexander, i think that the fight wasn't going his way and he thought he could get out of it with no repercussions, which was not the case at all.

It makes sense to not take unnecessary punishment. He chose that as his way out and I don't blame him. His health comes first. The ridiculing of him is disgusting.

He has to work on his errors and comeback stronger. Keeping his health intact allows him to do this.

Some of you guys in here are delusional. It's crazy how few people won't acknowledge the fact that MAYBE Alexander was actually affected by repeated headbutts from a guy who is known for leaning in with his head while punching. Devon has never displayed the character of quitter in any of his previous fights. Can't say the same for Bradley when it comes to butting. Furthermore, what I saw was a guy that was clearly trying to shake of the effects of a CRUSHING headbutt! The ref admitted to stopping the fight out of fear that Devon suffered nerve damage. Cmon, stop looking at these fights so onesided.

You don't redeem yourself by knocking somebody else out. This stays with you. Only if he again faces Bradley and beats him does he then BEGIN the process of redeeming himself (although likely to never be fully redeemed).

I'm a Devon fan. And even to me it looks like he took it as a way out of the fight, from being frustrated not hurt. Same way Duran quit on SRL with No Mas in a sense. He's young, he has heart. He proved that in the Kotelnik fight. He proved he had some dog in him then. But that fight very well may have taken some of the dog outta him. It's up to him to right the ship.

And your gif is a thing of beauty my friend.
