This is what happens when you match equally good fighters. It's so rare that two good boxers match up that some of these fools don't recognize it wasn't about what they couldn't do. It was about what the other guy was taking away.
There was a lot of skill shown last night. Bradley is an ugly and wide puncher at times, don't mistake that with lack of skill. And Alexander wasn't getting enough credit from HBO I think for some of the work he was doing in the middle rounds. I thought it was 5-4 going into 10....
Also keep in mind. Bradley's first time fighting a southpaw. Not sure how much that factors in, but it's something.
People seem to think just because Maidana couldn't KO Khan, he's not going to get hurt by anybody else. I can see both Bradley and Alexander taking him out still. Khan does have the advantages in speed, power, and size though.
What you talking about Devon got punched in the face like 100 times by slow ass Kotelnik.
And as for Bradley I'm too lazy to post the YouTube where he get punched in the face and flies up in the air but you Google that ****.
Yeah how many more times did Holt catch him after that though?
Bradley can be countered, he's still hard to deal with offensively because he comes in with his head and he's good at slipping punches. His problem is in exchanges.
Alexander was beaten that night I agree. Can't really argue that. I believe he's still an above average defensive fighter.
Right???? No need for the stfu.....be an adult. But to your point, they both didnt look like they knew what to do with each other, Alexander barely sat down on any of his shots, and bradley threw some iffy combos. I'm a fan of both, but after watching it again, their styles do not mesh well together. I think Alexander would have been better suited to actually use his jab instead of flicking it, and I think Bradley did decent work along the ropes occasionally. With that being said, the way they fought each other was not impressive at all. Also, I didnt like the way Devin moved into Bradley's right hand most of the time, nor posing in front of him. He could have used his jab and moved laterally instead of standing in front of him or backing up. It just didnt look good. Some fighters merely dont mesh well together and I think this might have been one of those cases. Alexander had a lot of trouble dealing with Bradley's head movement too. It was a weird fight to me. They both could have been much more effective using simple boxing basics and it didnt happen. I applaud every fighter but this fight was far under what I think both are capable of doing!!!!
your right about the stfu and i appologize about that.
but yes they looked like they had trouble figuring out a puzzle but thats what happens when you fight a top level guy. both have good defense and at top of thir game neither wanted to make bad mistakes it was the biggest fight of their career. bradley stuck to his gameplan better. but neither looked like amateurs period. i mean watch floyd fight sharba mitchell the fight was sloppy as hell. sometimes it happens

its not about speed its about timming. kotelnik timed devon who was open for the right hand. jsut because your open for a shot odnt mean you have bad defense. marquez landed his right hand on floyd who has the best defense in the last 10 years.
