Bradley/Alexander Rematch Clause? What are the details on this?

Alexander said after the fight that he would fight bradley next because of a rematch clause. How come nobody else is talking about this? Has this been confirmed, what are the details?

From what HBO said during the telecast, there is a rematch clause. A few hours later, there were reports of HBO not being interested in a rematch. Not to say HBO has the final say, but if they did go with a rematch, would it end up on showtime???

From what I gather, what it is...is that there is an option for a rematch if HBO picks it up.

But, if HBO doesn't pick it up(which they said they're not interested) then both fighters are still guaranteed their next fight on HBO for a 7 figure payday against X opponent(It doesn't matter who it is, is going to be on HBO and they get a guarantee 7 figures).

Well Bradley and I think Devon too but I'm not sure about him. I know Bradley for sure is an HBO fighter. He can't fight on showtime.

You are right. Showtime will not pay 7 figuires to Devon Alexander for his next fight especially because he lost.

The next move might be Bradley vs Mayweather I believe.

Why does Alexander deserve a seven figure payday against anyone with his last 2 performances?

              He doesn't,

but HBO has that in the contract so they have to give it to him.

Why weren't they more open about the possibility of a rematch due to the contracts before?

Seems they've been happy to talk about the next fight being against Khan, all the while knowing that could well not happen due to they're rematch clause.

I think Bradley would entertain a rematch but Devon isn't getting back in the ring with him. The tide was really starting to turn in the 9th and 10th rds. I just rewatched the fight and Bradley was walking right through Devon's punches and running towards him after the breakups to get back to work, Devon seemed really troubled that he had no time to rest.

Devon knew it too after they forced the fight to be stopped....they announced the scores and Bradley was the only one to raise his hands. Then in the post-fight interview, he made it appear as if the doctor forced him to stop the fight saying that he was upset about the stoppage.....very shiesty.

HBO isn't gonna pay them to fight each other again. Who knows where they go from here because neither guy is getting a shot a Pac or Mayweather....bring on Khan I guess.
