    At the Estadio Banorte in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, close to 12,000 hometown fans turned out to watch WBC silver middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0, 30 KOs) win a ten round unanimous decision over rugged contender Billy Lyell (22-9, 4 KOs).       Now, do you guys really think JR could be competitive against Martinez???

              Im a mexican but this dude embarrased me today big time this foo sucks, suliman n WBC are none but *****es, i saw chavrz jr loose this fight 6rds to 4rds, this guy jus exposed himself n roach, margarito is a cheater n no skill but margarito always have balls to exchange, this guy cant even stand toe to toe agaisnt an 5'8 natural 154lb maybe even 147lb

                I had him losing the fight also. He got out-hustled by a "Little Mac" look alike in there. After that performance, you may even see them duck even zbik now. He is simply a journeyman fighter who just is not interested. His handlers and promoter know this also.

                  jr did't lose tonight, nevertheless he should'vd finished Lylle in the early rounds...Supposedly he didn't train for this fight...IDK....he looked slow against Lylle who had 8 previous defeats...


                  the fans booed him because of his lack of action...

                    Im dissapointed in chavez Jr, and I scored the fight 6 rounds lyell - 4 chavez jr.
                    Jr. was tired by the 4th round, im a mexican, and he really is a bum
