Berto is by FAR the most laughed at boxer in the sport. In a division LOADED with fighters this PROTECTED BUM finally fights a LOWER TOP TEN fighter in luis collazzo ,loses in my and many others opinion, acts like he dominated Collazo and keeps fighting junior welters, all the while saying 'Im the best im undefeated"so was thomas damgaard,it don't mean anything if you have NO ACTUAL FIGHTERS on your resume. This guy needs to just give back the belt siting lack of balls as the reason he is forfitting his belt.

I see no problem with what Ortiz is asking for. I mean Berta only Fights Jr. WW anyways so... Get eeerrrrr done.

Berto: the WBC Welterweight Champion that only defends againts Jr. Welterweights, what a joke!!!!

Ortiz is a p###y! The only thing that came out during his coming out party vs Maidana was the b#tch in him. He froze up against L. Peterson when any man with Ortiz' talents that had a pair would've KTFO'd. Now he wants to demand catchweights from a beltholder? Albeit Berto, but kid needs to re-think his career.

i don't like berto fighting JWWs but if Ortiz wants to move up and challenge for berto's title than it should be at the WW limit, fuck making a guy defend his title at a catchweight

Victor Ortiz isn't a tough challenge for Berto even though he may be more skilled than some of the dudes Berto has fought. I'd go as far to say he isn't even as good as Collazo. I'd like to see Berto fight Cintron, but HBO wants Cintron to rematch Paul Williams.

ortiz should just man up and make da most of this title opportunity. he is more of a welter than jr welter. berto weighed in 145 for his last fight so there won't b a weight disparity in diz fite. MAN UP n fite @ da full limit!!

If Berto doesn't want a catch weight then should not keep fighting jr. welters when he is the welter weight champ.IF he wants the fight at 147lbs, fight a friggin 147lb fighter not a 140 pound fighter.

if ortiz doesnt want to fight at 147 then just stay at 140,berto doesn't have to come down, ortiz can rematch maidana, ask for alexander or bradley,if bradley can't get a big name in his next fight, ortiz would be good i think
