No it wasn't. He didn't look good at all and he's a dirty fighter.
He was already #1 going in and did enough to preserve the lead.

I thought he looked good, to be honest. The fight itself wasn't very pretty, but Tim looked very comfortable in there.

Dirty is absurd. Alexander landed several butts himself, and his excessive clinching led to no fewer than three Bradley headbutts, including the one that cut his right eye and the one that ended the fight.

Bradley kept coming forward and tried to engage. He did a good job evading Devon's ineffective offense and landed the cleaner, harder shots. Headbutts happen and are a part of boxing (especially when a righty and lefty square off). Alexander made it worse by constantly trying to grab Bradley when Tim was advancing. This put his head in the way. Devon also butted Tim on at least two occasions himself but Tim didn't complain.
You are so absolutely wrong! Movement, whether it be backwards, side to side or forward is a part of boxing, clinching is a part of boxing...launching your head or otherwise using it as if it were a third bare fist in the ring is ILLEGAL in boxing. You'd have to watch multiple Bradley fights to see how he uses it to his advantage. I wont go as far as to say it is intentional, but he always seems to be on the better end of a headbutt in his fights whether fighting a southpaw or conventional. IMO Alexander was the far more aggressive puncher, throwing four and five punch LIGHTNING quick combos. Bradley found a home for his right hand earlier, but it had no affect on Alexander, not nearly as much as his head/fist. How fast did Bradley stop walking away with that smirk when Alexander was countering over top that weak right hand. Bradley is a game fighter, but is lacking in skill and is HIGHLY overrated.

nah pacquiao respects his fans he will make it entertaining by bouncing these two clowns on the four corners of the ring and mopping the canvass with them.

You're the one who saw a different fight from almost everyone else (including the judges). Of course movement is a part of boxing. But movement without landing effective punches renders that movement useless. Devon wasn't moving to set up his punches he was moving due to the relentless pressure Bradley was putting on him. He was moving because Bradley was hitting him cleanly all night. I've seen many Bradley fights (as well as Alexander fights) and have never seen him intentionally headbutt any fighter. He is an aggressive fighter who comes forward and pressures you. Unfortunately fighters who use this style often are involved in fights that can be marred by headbutts. Holyfield, Hagler and many other great fighters were called dirty because they fought coming forward. In tonight's fight Alexander was just as guilty for causing the butts as Tim. All of the butts were unintentional by both fighters tonight and were the result of Tim being a righty and Devon being a lefty. Headbutts occur frequently in such matchups. Additionally, Devon was bringing his head down to Tim's level when he threw his punches and also when he was clinching Tim he'd bring his head forward causing some of the clashing of the heads.

Bradley's punches didn't have to hurt Alexander (none of Alexander's hurt him) all they had to do was score. Tim clearly landed the harder, cleaner punches. Alexander's output was mediocre, he was scared to open up because that would allow Tim to get in close and tee off on him. When Alexander did try to make a stand and punch Bradley was evading nearly all his punches with his body movement/slipping. I don't feel either fighter is overrated. Devon has a lot more work to do, doesn't appear he performs well against pressure fighters (he barely beat Kotelnik). Devon seemingly had no gameplan (or just couldn't execute it) tonight. He doesn't seem to have a plan B or C if he can't outbox you. Devon still has a bright future but he simply didn't have the experience to win tonight. He needs to learn how to effectively counter pressure fighters and keep them off of him (esp. now since everyone knows this is the blueprint on beating him).

You come off as a major Alexander homer. I was completely unbiased and didn't care who won (although I was born in St Louis and would have liked to have see Alexander win). Try to be more objective. The better fighter won tonight. Tim is no worldbeater but he is clearly a better boxer than Devon at this point in their careers...

so that's what they call a "superfight"?... glad that bradley won though... still a class act despite the weird outcome...

i say bradley should fight khan first... then get berto... he is NOT ready for pacquiao...

I still consider Khan as the #1 at 140.
                  Its close though.

Please explain why Khan is #1 when he has been KTFO, and will not fight the man who beat him, while someone else is fighting the top guys in the division. Don't feed me this excuse he redeemed himself against Maidana and he is with Roach. Do your homework. Roach has had more fighters that have lost then won. (Serious fight fans only.)
