    social life and boxing don't mix do they?

    i dont have time with my friends cuz of boxing.. i can't drink & smoke no more with friends.. i can't eat out.. no more maccas or junk food any other crap.. i cant stay up late.. its like i locked myself up and train all they.. what a wonderful life huh?

    anyone here takes their boxing seriously should know what i mean..

    im only amateur by the way.. and no i wont go pro

    If your not happy boxing then quit.

    And there's no law saying you can't go out and get drunk while boxing, although it wouldn't do any favours to your boxing if you did.

    I'm not quite sure what your moaning at, your free to do what you want, if winning boxing matches makes you happy then thats that, if your not happy then do something that will make you happy.

      im not quiting til i get that amateur national champion belt on my waist..

      im just saying.. is that how boxing life meant to be?

          It depends what your social life is like... Nowadays I'm a pisshead, so boxing would f**k up my social life.

          However I do have friends (albeit, not close ones) that don't drink... Or at least don't drink very often. I'm not sure what they do in their spare time though?... Perhaps they go to the gym?
