Amir should fight Prescott or Peterson. After that he should fight Tim. Anything other than these options would result in major backlash.

Basically he's either gonna fight a 135 lb no namer, a 135 lber coming off a KO loss to JMM, or Bradley's left overs. Some great champ this Amir Khan is like the Brits say.Last edited by Iceta Lives; 01-30-2011, 12:18 PM.Comment

That April date just sounds like a complete waste of time (for us fans I mean, not Khan who will surely earn much more than he deserves). That said, I don't feel like Prescott is entitled to a shot at Khan or is even a credible opponent at this point, so I'm not too broken hearted about him being ruled out. I hope the Murray fight gets made, as I've been looking forward to seeing Murray get flattened for years.Comment

Iceta, Amirs a punk imo. The Brits are quick to point out Bradleys flaws but the truth is their boy has just as many. They overlook them though because he's a bit more flashy than Tim. The Brits think they have an elite fighter but they just got an average joe with above average skills. Amir is the same as Tim Bradley on skill level. Good but not elite.Comment

Reply from World Boxing News
Hello,
I feel like I need to defend this article in the light of the these comments. I was asked by Rick Reeno if they could use the article, to which I agreed. Rick then changed the name of the article to say "Rejects Prescott" which is not the title I had for the article. My title was "Khan eyes Katsidis, contact to be made on Monday." In the article, it only suggests that he had ruled out a rematch right now because of Prescott's poor recent record, which Khan mentioned when talking about Prescott. AT NO POINT, did I say Khan rejected Prescott! All the quotes are accurate and we at World Boxing News would never print a quote unless it had actually been said, and in this case, the editor was responsible and at no time, would risk the reputation of a boxer or the WBN site. I feel sorry that the first time I am asked for an article, that something gets changed and totally misconstrues the meaning of the article and my defence comes at some reluctance.
Thank you to Rick for putting the article out there for the Boxing Scene fans, but I only wish the title could have remained the way it was.
Hopefully the Boxing Scene fans will acknowledge the fact and see the article the way it was meant to be seen.
Thank you for your understanding.
