Do you know if it was ever confirmed?
yes it went thru.Don king got him,And had him on the shelf for over a year.
In matter of fact james regrets signing with king.James fcked up by signing
with king.He only signed with king cause king,Cause king gave him a big
signing bonus.Goldenboy went after him,And promised to keep him busy,
    and get him tv dates.

also a fan of Holt and very glad to hear about this. Hopefully he can work his way back up the ranks and do better at Welter

Its weird though, that Holt hits hard but doesn't have a huge amount of KO's.
not really that weird, Holt doesn't throw enough punches as an earlier poster said.

Guess his promotional issues and the long lay off took a toll on him, hope this isn't it for him, he seemed promising and was actually a pretty good puncher..I hope he can sort out his issues outside the ring and can actually bounce back from a devastating loss like this one.
Allen conyers hasnt fought in 3 years, what about his layoff? Conyers has brute strength and heart....Thats something you cant work on in the gym..Heart..the fight can be found on youtube...3 knockdowns...can someone post it??

James Delarosa got whooped...no excuses...he looked good until he got hit with that right hand...He's young so hopefully he can bounce back from that beat down....but lets not take any credit away from Conyers who was told monday that he was going to fight Delarosa on saturday and had to be in michigan by wednesday....So that means he only had 2 days to prepare for a fight against a young undefeated star...I take my hat off to you Allen conyers..
