When fighters get famous they start cherry picking.

Mayweather is bad enough. Pac has been overwhelming favorite in every recent fight and made sure the odds were moved into his favor. Haye has fought Valuev, Ruiz then Audley.
Khan's team are getting cheaper by the second which bodes badly for the future.
It pains me to say that Wlad seems the closest to taking on anyone but who knows whether the whole 'options' on opponents factor is just an excuse used by scared opponents.

    I admire them all but........

Who was the last 'take on all-comers' superstar?

****ING great ****ing post my friend. I dunno if your a fan of K-1 and MMA as well, but no combat sport I watch has anyone like that except maybe (MAYBE) Overeem. Everyone looks bad as hell and then they become a champion, and people who don't even watch the sport know their names. Once the casual fan knows a fighter's name these days they become ****. You ought to defend against the BEST opponent you can find. For to show your supremacy. It's **** or get off the pot time for those guys and they're all too busy jerking off. A bunch of sad ass ***** champions. Andy ****ing Bowen against any of these light bums. Robinson against anyone near the middle, and **** yeah Joe Louis for the big boys...whats up? Real champions ain't scared to lose thats whats up......****ing ***** ****s....

I think the Pacquaio criticism is bull****. Who the hell else do we want to see him fight? Berto? Gimme a break. Martinez is a MW and the 140ers have their own business to take care of for the moment.

The onus should be on the contenders to put themselves in position for a big fight:

eg Marquez should fight and win a meaningful fight at 140-147

eg Berto strives to make a fight with Mosley, Cotto, Margarito,

eg Martinez goes down to 154 and fights there consistently- then he could be in with a chance, no way while he's at 160.

eg the Khan vs Bradley/Alexander winner could fight him in a years time etc

Famous or not, it's hard to beat Pac triple threat...Barerra, Marquez, and Morales. These were pretty much back to back fight with just a tune between Marquez and Morales.

Well in Pacquiao's defense he'd be the overwhelming favorite for anyone he fights 147 and down besides Mayweather. He'd be a heavy favorite over Bradley, Alexander, Marquez, or Berto. Same goes with Mayweather, he'd be the overwhelming favorite as well for anyone but Pacquaio. And both Mayweather and Pacquaio are not Middleweights. Thats how good they both are. People expect them to fight at middleweight because they want to see them lose.
