He might be a prospect but give him ten more fights over the next couple years and then have Steward call me about him being a "superstar".

Its funny how everybody hates on him but only one person gave a reason why they think couldn't be "the next heavyweight superstar".

would say a lot about the future of heavyweight boxing if this is true.

            I wouldn't be surprised.

People have only seen the ' My Uncle trains me ' version of Fury.

I'm sure Steward sees some sort of potential in him. Physically he's got it, he likes to fight inside, which is unusual for a big fighter like him. Chin looks quite good and he's got decent speed.

Don't know about his power, but his weight/fat was his main issue. If Steward can keep on top of that and keep him disciplined then he can get the most out of Fury.

I agree with much of what Manny says, but Fury simply doesn't have the athleticism to become a heavyweight superstar.

Too bad the more talented UK heavyweight David Price doesn't have a top trainer like Steward.

He also doesn't have the chin.

He got wobbled on his debut never seen that before from such a highly-touted prospect..

He's stopped throwing that left-hook to the body so often. It just looks so shit seeing a 6'8 man focus on a body attack.

                I like Fury a lot. He's hilarious.

He's a 6ft9 Gypsy Mexican with those killer left hooks to the body.

I'm being serious though, I do see Fury going far if his chin and power are fine. He's got this far based on his poorly managed talent and I doubt Steward would pick up dead weight.

I rate Price as the better heavyweight and I think he'll have a decent future too. His chin has been called into question, even more so because he was stopped in the Olympics.

But he hasn't been dropped yet or seriously hurt. The wobble incident was because he was caught flush on the chin when his hands were down while the ref was speaking to him.

Let's have Fury vs Arreola and find out who the real Mexican is.

Steward managed to transform Wlad into a Lennox Lewis carbon copy so I think there's a good chance he'll do the same with Fury.
But unlike Lennox or Wlad Tyson Fury never won a gold medal at the Olympic Games nor is he eye catchingly talented or athletic. It'll be a very hard task to make a third Lennox Lewis out of Fury but I wouldn't rule it out.
