In lower weight divisions he has been in, we saw he was a come forward fighter not afraid of getting hit to deliver his own. In higher weight division against bigger men like Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. He shown to us he can make his opponents miss all day if he wants too and counterpunch them beautifully, accurately in a fast combination like the Oscar fight for example. What do think guys?
Manny Pacquaio = underrated one of the best counterpuncher?

Pac has pretty good counterpunching. Thats not his primary weapon but he is a very good counter puncher. He has shown it in his last few fights.
You will get alot of the typical "Pac is simply a brawler, nothing else" comments tho -
Not just counterpunching but his footwork is underrated also.
Posters still think that 2011 PAC is the same PAC of 2003.Comment

his counter punching is under rated for sure. he really upped it in the marquez rematch but hes not one the best counter punchers. again though its not a skill that gets much merit for pac.Comment

yep,his best work in fights is when opponents open up and leave space for him to get quick counters in from either hand.
his right hand and right hook has been noticably strong of late.
this confuses opponents, they cant stop getting hit,and dont know from which hand or what angle they are getting hit from.
clottey was literally scared stiff to even open up and allow pac to counter,so pac just fought a punch bag for most the fight, and still made it watchable!.
he is described by sparring partners as a fully 2 handed fighter that is very tricky and hard to deal with.not just a regular southpaw.
i like how its his fast counters from angles that hurts his opponents, not any crazy drug that makes him super powerful no matter what.Comment

His foot work is not under rated, his foot work couldn't keep him away from Marquez's bombs. His foot work has looked good because the last couple of opponents have been moving in straight lines, moving backwards or just completely flat footed.Comment
