Simple answer would be, cliche as it may sound, Boxing is no longer a sport, it's already known as the Business of boxing.
On top of that, they want boxing also to become the next "Days of our Lives", that is why they sensationalize every bit of detail about every match, especially top fighters like pac, floyd, mosley, etc....
