He's right but that's because the new MGM Grand is only a few years old. All 3 casinos in Detroit are very nice and the one across the bridge in Canada is great too. People when they hear the city Detroit shriek but our downtown is very nice. Much nicer than cities like St Louis that's for sure. Only thing the MGM needs in Detroit is a ring. It could be a great city if boxing just gave it a shot.

How could you possibly sell your girlfriend into going to St Louis but not this? I know the fights not in Detroit but we have plenty more to do in Detroit than St Louis.

Detroit just has a horrible rep right now. St Louis is a cleaner, nicer city with better shopping and nightclubs. Trust me, had it been actual Detroit it would have been a possibility. Pontiac? None. But you can't deny that St Louis crowd would have been rocking for this fight. They went nuts with the Cory Spinks/Nelly entrance and I loved it.

Well the local military surplus store should do quite nicely. Have a uniform sale and you'll get a bunch of people showing up in Halloween costumes. Would look hilarious on TV.
