The WBA has ordered former world champion Celestino Caballero to wait for a shot at the "regular" featherweight champion Jonathan Victor Barros of Argentina. Caballero, ranked at number one, had been petioning the WBA for a mandatory shot at Barros. The sanctioning body has told Caballero that he needs to win at least one fight to qualify for his shot. Caballero is returning from a decision loss to Jason Litzau in November. The WBA will select Barros' next opponent.

i dont feel sorry 4 this caballero loser 1 bit but what your saying is true. imo 4 belts in 1 division is 2 much. so for 1 single org 2 have 3 champions is ****ing crazy.

I wonder what part of "you lost your last effing fight" Caballero doesn't understand. To demand a title shot after losing to Litzau is downright silly. The least he could do is beat up a few lame former Chris John opponents to earn a title shot.

I'm glad Caballero has to get in line and win a fight to get a shot. He lost his last fight against a C caliber opponent and thinks that it is owed to him to get a shot at the title.

Good that they make him do something for it and hopefully this will shut him up for a while

Funny how the Ricans rushed in here to talk crap. I never heard them complaining about Cotto fighting Jennings for a belt after losing.
