Imagine if Oscar did that to Mayweather. Mayweather's biggest purse to date was $8M and wasn't a draw, he could've told Mayweather to take 12 and **** off. Floyd ended up making $20+M.

Khan isn't even offering these domestic fighters, who have UK fanbases, where it will be available on PPV, even 10% of the revenue. He's offering 200K, but he's planning on making at least $2M. If Khan is going to be carrying this greediness and ego this early, how will the big fights be made?
Your post doesn't make much sense. So Floyd would complain if Oscar offered him $24M?

I didn't expect you to make much sense out of something bad regarding Khan anyway. Looking for a better example of why Khan is in the wrong is a waste of time. Whatever though, Khan is in the wrong.

According to Hearn he asked for a % of the tickets sales HE sold and a % of the ppv in ireland north and south.

ie money Paul brings to the fight.

That's exactly it, Q... and I've been saying the same thing. Khans next big fight is supposed to be the winner of Bradley/Alexander, but I see that fight being a lot harder to make then the gimme in the U.K. he's trying to make now, and can't. Team Bradley is not going to be bullied around by Team Khan (who will think they have the right to set the terms) and Team Alexander has already stated multiple times that they don't need to fight Amir Khan so I'm sure they would walk away with no problem.

And people seem to forget that the fight with Maidana would have NEVER even happened if Maidana hadn't been Khans MANDATORY and if Team Maidana hadn't ordered a purse bid split. KHAN HAD NO CHOICE! They tried to walk away stating that Maidana had "overpriced" himself, but Maidana pursued his rights and won. Then, laughably, Khans Team tried to spin it to sound like it was Amir that chose Maidana to fight and didn't have to. And all of a sudden Amir is saying Maidana is better then Bradley and Alexander and that he was "taking on #1 straight a way." They wanted all this credit for Amir because he was taking on the biggest puncher in the division (like he had a choice), but wanted people to forget that Khan had already been trying to walk away citing "Maidana wants too much money". The only reason they made and accepted a second offer is because they stood to make significantly less if they had let it go to an actual purse bid split. IF MAIDANA HAD NOT REQUESTED AND WON THE RIGHT TO A PURSE SPLIT BID, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE SEEN THE FIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I'm quite certain of that.

The thing is, both Bradley and Alexander can walk away from Khan and still make good money fights after tonights victory. Khan, on the other hand, will still be looking for guys who are desperate for a payday, but still act surprised when they refuse to bend over and take it in the rear from Team Khan. It's funny that Team Khans negotiating tactics is to pay a fighter according to what they made in their previous fights (plus a little more) and tell them that it should be more than acceptable, but who is Khan to determine what is "fair" for another fighter to make? If it's a big money fight, then the opponent obviously should make big money too. Not just what Team Khan deams good enough because it's more then they've made before. My word, you would think that Amir Khan had been a professional boxer for 20 years now the way he views himself. He's not even considered a "veteran" yet, and hasn't fought enough good opposition to even consider himself one of the greats at this time. And all of this stuff is coming from a guy who openly admits he wants to take on champions on their way out, and the easiest opponents over a challenge. He may have some skills, but all this other stuff adds up to f-r-a-u-d IMO. Especially when they're breaking in to rooms and stealing contracts, and refusing to pay someone on their own team.

Everything about Team Khan has become a frickin nightmare of a joke - from the army of thugs he brings to the weigh ins, to the crowd he has banned together in the audience. Hell, his "crowd" at the Khan/Maidana fight even booed Marcos Maidana as he LEFT the ring after their fight (yet Amir was in Maidanas locker room taking pictures with his arm around Marcos in his underwear lol). I thought that was some classless bull**** right there. How do you boo a man who just left everything in the ring and almost had their "hero"s coach stop the fight because he was getting his block knocked off??? And now, with the accusations that Team Khan broke in to Arizas room and stole personal documents from him.... they don't even want to pay the people that are HELPING Amir. Man, what a bunch of classless thugs.

So, why some people on here, who say that "the hate Amir Khan gets is unbelievable", don't get it - I don't know. It seems pretty obvious to me.

BTW... how many possible opponents is it now that have supposedly "overpriced themselves"???

Lets see - there's JMM (twice), Peterson, McCloskey, Murray and you have to count Maidana too, since the fight wouldn't have happened if the purse bid hadn't been ordered (becuase Khan said Maidana was asking too much and was trying to find another opponent). And, that's all within a one year period of time.

The first laugh is even saying a legitimate warrior like JMM could "overprice himself", TWICE, over someone of Khans caliber at this time - and the last laugh is that the one guy who says he will take WHATEVER they offer, Breidis Prescott, Team Khan isn't even considering. Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it too.............
