I've gotten my bell rung once or twice and forgotten what was going on for a second or two. Like a lot of other people have said already, a lot of it's the fatigue of sparring.

I've seen a lot of guys not come back after sparring for the first time, so it says something if you go back.

    Good luck.

        Hurts or is sore?

If it's sore, it's most likely because you probably don't use your non-dominant
arm that much and boxing (for most) pushes your non dominant hand to be your primary weapon. Mine used to get sore when i started out and a lot of times i would get really bad aches in my shoulders and joints. It went away after a few months.

Your arm does get used to it after a couple of months.

If it hurts, explain how it hurts.
