    Question for Amir Khan fans/supporters...

If you all are saying that Prescott is a bum and a nobody, and that he got trucked in his fight after the khan win then why be so concerned about Khan redeeming himself?
If Prescott is such an easy when then why not fight him in the UK where he will make more change and redeem himself
Then what will the haters have to say?
Then he can take on the winner of Alexander/Bradley.

Khan should fight Prescott now. It's the perfect fight for him after the Maidana war. Prescott will be outclassed (if Khan keeps his guard up).

I don't mind Amir fighting Prescott. It's always good to avenge a loss.

But for me it's like this. Amir is an unfinished article.
      • Amir beat a good defensive counter-puncher in Kotelnik. Amir has gone through that learning-curve now.
      • Amir beat a fast akward boxer in Malignaggi. Amir has gone through that learning-curve aswell.
      • Amir beat a big punching pressure fighter in Maidana. And now Amir has gone through this learning curve as well

A style Amir hasnt faced thusfar is someone who hits you from different angles ala Bradley, Peterson. Someone who doesn't come at you face first and punches with you.

Thats why I want him to fight someone like Peterson.

I have no problem with the fight, I just think for khan's development it is not a good fight, I would rather see him in their with something a little different, someone with skills, brains, boxing ability, and power. Khan would destroy prescott, maybe a couple of wobbly moments, but I doubt even that. Maidana is a similar style but way better than prescott in every way, now those 2 going at it is a fight I would love to see.

But as a fan of khan I think he needs to be in with different styles, he is still learning and makes a bunch of mistakes, someone like prescott isn't going to teach him anything, even the irish kid mccloskey has got some skill about him, he is a european champion which is more than prescott has ever achieved, or peterson who is a solid all round fighter. If your gonna go with another power punching pressure fighter I would much rather see him in with katsidis, a more marketable fight with both networks in my opinion. With Prescott yeah they have the angle, this is the guy that beat khan in 60 seconds, and then people like my friends who are casual fans are gonna ask what he has done since he beat khan, "yeah he''s lost 3 fights including kevin mitchell" who is really a blown up super-featherweight. Katsidis just came off a competitive loss to marquez he has consistently fought the best, devastated 2 british fighters in the Uk (including mitchell) and hbo love him.

Im all for the Prescott rematch.

Although the same people crying out for it will give Khan no credit if/when he beats him.
