Will David Haye fight another old heavyweight on May 21?

All of Haye's opponents since moving up to heavyweight have been age 36 or older.

His 2 last opponents: John Ruiz was 38 and Audley Harrison was 39.

David Haye will likely fight on May 21.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that David Haye's likely return will take place on May 21 at the 02 Arena in London. Haye (25-1, 23KOs), the WBA heavyweight champion, was ordered to face his mandatory Ruslan Chagaev. There is considerable doubt over Chagaev's ability to box in the UK. The British Boxing Board of Control is reviewing Chagaev's medical records and Haye's team expects a decision in the next couple of days.

    It likely won't be Chagaev.

Possible opponents I've seen mentioned so far are Jean-Marc Mormeck, who turns 39 in early June, and age 41 Antonio Tarver.

    - Atlas has said he'd approve a Povetkin fight with Haye.
    - Dimitrenko would likely cancel his European title fight for a bigger payday against Haye.
    - Arreola is ranked by the WBA - he should win tomorrow, and would no doubt be willing to take the fight.
    - Ustinov is highly ranked by the WBA.
    - Boytsov's management said Denis is healed and will be fighting again in April.

There's no reason for Haye to fight another old opponent.

What do you think? Will he fight another old opponent?

It's because you know he would beat the fighters you love. You're just trying to prove to yourself that he wouldn't, but can't.

          Let's bet then.

If Haye doesn't fight Chagaev, I'll bet 50 mil points to your 10 mil that he chooses another OLD OPPONENT.

          Is it a bet?

No way are you mad? With Haye track record i aint doing that. But most of the good fighters are quite old now.

He'll probably end up against an Eddie Chambers, Sam Peter, or Hasim Rachman type.

The cowardly Brit biatch **** will not face anyone that is close to him in age, he'll pick on another 39 year old that's almost a decade older than him, you know this and Gayevid's ******ed Brit fans know this. They are just trolling now to defend their cowardly fraud **** hero.

I will make an early prediction. I am two for two now with Gayevid's "business" plans: 1) I said he'll never fight a Klitschko even back in 2009, before he faked the pulled vagina muscle. 2) He will duck Chagaev because he is too dangerous for him, even the shot version. So far I was right. Here is my prediction. Gayevid will get stripped of the fake WBA trinket because he will refuse to fight Povetkin, Boytsov, and Ustinov, next highest ranked WBA fighters after Chagaev. They are all undefeated and close to him in age, Boytsov is actually younger. No way will he fight these guys, he will instead fight old man Mormeck again.

Boxing is not always that easy! Haye has to do a mandatory defence and that means the WBA has a lot to say who haye will be fighting! Boytsov is very protected by universum and they wont let him fight any good fighter until he tested that hand again in the ring! With povetkin that would be a good choice but there is as we all know something going on with atlas and sauerland promotion! maybe povetkin decides to leave atlas..
Ustinov is possible if k2 allows it but i higly doubt this.
Alexander dimitrenko has to get his respect back by beating sosnowski and give him his opportunity he deserved to fight for the european title!
arreola is ranked number 15 so he might not get the fight cause wba will be asking Rahman and mormeck who are higher in the rankings! So whoever wants the fight rahman mormeck or arreola! this is gonna be hayes mandatory on may21
