Did you even read the articles? Pacquiao goes from being "surprised" of the switch and having Koncz explain the advantages of moving to CBS, to Arum stating Manny knew they had a proposal before Showtime/CBS which was known for a "LONG TIME".
If he knew about the proposal for a long time, why would he be surprised?

they hate on pacquiao because he allows arum to deal with Showtime/CBS, hate him more because he is agreeing to the deal which will give him a wider platform on which to expose him to a more wider number of audiences to the tune of 115,000,000 tv viewers which will only validate he is really the crossover star as compared to the HBO platform of 28,000,000. haters hate on pacquiao because he now has the opportunity to make a big difference in the history of boxing, that is to return the sport to the mainstream. if he is successful, haters know that pacquiao will be more bigger of a star and hell be given the credit for what he had done for the sports and his legacy will be more secure and meaningful. and imo this is the real logic and what really makes sense on what makes the hater hates.Last edited by tibbar; 01-29-2011, 06:39 AM.Comment

Which is why this fight with Mosley is going down. Manny just talks with his fist, he has no idea what goes on around him.
I hope he doesn't have this approach for the people of the Philippines, because its quite apparent, that Manny has a bunch of sharks in his entourage.
I hope he doesn't become a story in a decade or so, of another high profile athlete stripped of his wealth
At this point, he just acquired a 300-hectare piece of land which he's developing into a multi million dollar integrated economic zone in General Santos City which he partnered with a government agency called Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
Basically, he has a life outside of boxing...he has already planned on this even before he won the congressional seat.Comment
