Boxing camp in cuba and u.s????

I heard from a buddy of mine that one of his training partner went to cuba for 12 weeks in a boxing camp which made me curios, has anyone been to boxing camps or heard of them???



I have never heard of a boxing camp nor do I know anyone in my social circle that exprienced the benefit of living in a place and boxing training all day.



Now I am wondering if any of you guys have been to a boxing camp before and if there is a boxing camp in u.s or if its just in cuba???

No I have never heard of a boxing camp where you live there. I have been to Cuba and Boxing is not a sport there it is a way of life Boxing is so embedded in Cuban Culture.

Tell me more if you find out a boxing camp for 12 weeks in Cuba would be so awesome I would try that for sure.

go to to Cuba and just walk in to any gym and get world class training for $2 or $3 a day.

I heard Emanuel Steward held a boxing camp not too long ago, but I doubt it would be more than a few days, let alone 12 weeks. If you look for it, you can probably find one given by a top trainer (Steward or Teddy Atlas) in the US.

You might be able to setup your own camp if you really wanted too. Just find out where a particular trainers gym is, rent a hostel for however many days, tell him that you're there to learn from him and get better, and pay the regular membership fee.
