You can say coulda would shoulda all you want, but it is what it is. If you can name one thing that can make anyone believe that Ortiz would have improved if there was a round 11 or 12, then perhaps you'll have a case. But I saw him take flight while getting hit with accurate shots and even getting wobbled at some points in round 10.

Ortiz certainly is not a B level boxer. He's probably one of the most gifted guys in the division. A B class boxer wouldn't be able to do what he did to Maidana before he quit. Ortiz's main problem is similar to what Cannonball Cintron goes through. He doesn't like getting hit and he loses focus mentally. If he could overcome that and improve his defense a bit, he'd easily make top 3 in the division.

Peterson on the other hand just doesn't have a lot of power, but he's a very accurate counter puncher who would give anyone in the division not named Khan, Bradley and Maidana lots of trouble, and possibly beat them.

c'mon dood, you can't prove hypothetical situations...

just cause you got A level talent doesn't mean you're an A level boxer. case in point: Zab Judah.

Peterson on the other hand just doesn't have a lot of power, but he's a very accurate counter puncher who would give anyone in the division not named Khan, Bradley and Maidana lots of trouble, and possibly beat them.
never said peterson doesn't give people problems, but he doesn't beat A level boxers or get draws against them

skills isn't the only thing that will determine victory on Sat. winner of the fight doesn't necessarily determine who is more skilled.

It was amazing watching him switch from a brawler in the early rounds to a boxer in the middle rounds, and then back to a brawler in the final round.

I honestly can't say for sure whose gonna win this Saturday because its a very good matchup, but the Peterson fight certainly pulled me more towards Bradley, especially after seeing Victor Ortiz get outboxed by him. I wouldn't be shocked if Alexander won though.
Don't forget this can happen to Bradley as well...
