People act like close fights in US never go to the visiting fighter. They are forgetting Calzaghe-Hopkins. A fight were most people thought Hopkins won. Judge Chuck Giampa is an American and he had a wide score of 116-111 for Calzaghe. Ted Gimza, another American judge, had the fight a little closer 115-112 for Calzaghe. And finally Adalaide Byrd, another American judge had Hopkins winning a close fight fight 113-114.

If it was in the UK, scores would have been 120-108 across, all for Calzaghe[the knock down would have been ruled a slip].

And we all saw what happened to Dirrell in Nottingham.

So much for Americans being the bad guys.

The Euro trash on this forum love talking about robberies.

There has only been one robbery in the Super 6. It happened in England. Fact.

He'll beat Abraham in Oakland, Detroit, Florida, NY, Germany, Mars or Pluto. Doesn't matter.
Yeah Ward stomps Abraham out anywhere, still think its an interesting match up. Ward's not as long as Froch and Dirrell so Abraham maybe able to get to Ward. If Ward fought Ham in Germany Ward would be looking for the stoppage.

Second half of the fight Calzaghe was easily winning the rounds, so much so Hopkins had to take a breather. And then tried the trick again. Even Cortez thought he was taking the pi55

So you also think Compubox make up their stats.
they are clearly wrong. is that the only thing you use to score a fight? the documentary clearly shows and breaks down all the punches in slow motion and calzaghe barely lands anything while hopkins lands a lot of sneaky punches that you didn't even see obviously.it's just reality that hopkins landed more. knowing that calzaghe was outlanded by a wide margin in most of the rounds using the 4 scoring criteria how does calzaghe win? i'm looking for hugging and rolling around on the ground and not finding it!

You're an idiot if you think Ward has critics because his last 3 fights have been in Oakland.

Bute's last 14 fights have been in Montreal against bums. You probably didn't even know that. It's cause you like men.

Maybe you haven't heard of ring generalship, it is not won by running backwards for 12 round.

Has Dirrel brain condition sorted itself out has yet. Came down with a bout of the chickenitas. Who is your Dr, Andre?

Lets not forget what happen just last year Alexander vs Kotelnik.

It was a close fight but Koty did enough to win, how the judges gave in comfortably for Alexander is another disgrace. Outlanded Alexander better defence controlled the fight.

Germany is the joke of boxing.
                  This is true.

a good general doesn't just come forward mindlessly. if you are able to lure your opponent into getting hit on your terms whether going backwards or forwards then you are the better ring general.

hypocrite warning! you think kotelnik won but not hopkins. it was the same fight! kotelnik and hopkins shut down their opponents offense and landed the cleaner punches. the only thing their opponents did was throw more needlessly. i see a trend here. you have all americans losing.
