    The best middleweight prospect?

MW has been overall a weak division since the mid 1990s. but now we finally seem to be getting some real promising prospects at Middleweight.

Feel free to add some in if I missed some.
-Have to be 28 or under
-Have to have a professional fight

David Lemiuex: My favorite prospect. He has a lot of power and has recently started shortening his right hand, making it compact and sneaky...very dangerous fighter so far. Took out Elvin Ayala in one round, took Arthur Abraham 12 rounds to do it. Even better: only 22 years old.

Gennady Golovkin: Technically not a prospect since he has a 'belt', but belts are so meaningless nowadays I just ignore them...not to mention he beat no one of note for it. Very solid fighter, tons of amateur experience...most notably TKOing Bute in the amateurs. Negatives: Hes already 28.

Andy Lee: After losing to Brian Vera in a war, he has rebounded with 9 straight wins...Although I havent see any of his recent fights. 26 years old is decent, but already kind of old.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr: His 41 victories dont mean much, but he did look improved against John Duddy. lets see what Roach can make of him. dont forget hes only 24 years old.

Matthew Macklin: I know nothing about him, but he is scheduled to fight Winky Wright next, so maybe Ill get to judge him there. Already 28 years old though....

Fernando Guerrero: 24 years old and seems like a solid athlete. Fights aggressively and seems to have a lot of passion.

Hassan N'Jiakm: Who is this guy? I dont have a clue who he is, but he seems to be fairly well respected and is 26, hopefully Ill get to see him against relevant opponents in the future.

Matt Korobov: Havent been overly ipressed with him so far, his competition is so-so and hes already 28. Better get a move on quick if he wants to do anything in the division

    any others?

I like golovkin....shocker right. His situation sucks though and he probably will never get the fights he should be in. So that leaves lemiuex for me. Canada is getting play nowadays and he's solid. Though there are really young prospects that are nasty. Gonzalez will make noise in the future as will lara if/ when he becomes a middleweight

With the proper fights it could be fun for a couple years

        thats about it.

        I watched them all fight.
everyone has a chance to get a title-holder by clever matchmaking.

personally, what Ive saw from Golovkin and Lemieux was very promosing.

in case of Golovkin and his court wars with Universum it could be very difficult to make a big fight. Sturm refused him to fight(was than named the super champ), N'Jikam refused him to fight like 3 times.

in case of Lemiuex, if he wins that fight with Rubio he can fight the winner of Zbik-Chavez. highly doubtful...

I cant remember the last unification or the last big fight between two top middleweights since Pavlik-JT.

N'Jikam is a tall young fighter that has basically been shutting out a bunch of opponents ranked-ish by the WBA. Basically only fighting fighters that are in that sanctioning bodies ranking.

He's still a rather unknown commodity. The only fight I could find of him a few months ago was his fight with current ranked #1 WBO guy Gennady Martirosyan. Him and Golovkin are 2 of the 3 "world champions" of the WBA in the middleweight division. Still have no idea why a fight between them hasn't taken place.

N'jikam jobbed Khurtsidze in his last fight. even the french people booed at him.

Golovkin made serveral(3-4 times) offers to fight Hassan. Hassan says hes not ready yet. LMFO
