You have 2 Cotto fans including the TS making excuses for Cotto.

But, you only focus on "*******s"

I don't have a name for Cotto fans. If I did, I would of said it.

I am so proud of Cotto because even with the weight disparity he wanted this fight badly.

      Go Cotto!!!!!!!

leave it alone my dude.....that question has been asked a million times and the answer you normally get to that question is so far away from the truth that its crazy!!....Cotto and Manny should BOTH be able dance with Sergio......I remember cats was saying that Shane was ducking Paul Williams....B.Hop was a MW and was supposedly had ducked a SMW named Joe Calzaghe.....the same prosecuters have turned into defense lawyers on here

Because Sergio Martinez can make 154lbs (and even a pound or two below apparently), and both Pacquiao and Cotto hold titles in that division. As long as he can make the weight he should feel entitled to those fights, being a former junior middleweight champion and easily the strongest contender in that division.

because Cotto is a fighter at 154lbs.

If Martinez can make 154lbs, then both Pacquiao and Cotto are obligated to fight the best at 154...which would be Martinez.

Pacquiao doesnt have to fight Martinez as long as he or his promoters dont run around claiming hes a champ at 154lbs.(but they are)
              This........

why are we gonna hate on Sergio when he himself..Manny is too small and he doesnt want to fight him unless he's at 155 or more..since he has the belt..

and Cotto is fair game..already fought once and gained a belt there..Cotto is fighting again at the same weight..he's in his division now..so why hate ..sounds like ur just trying to make a hidden point for ur bf joy.

That's like anybody from the Super Six giving him crap for not fighting them...
Come on Manny is a little dude......
If Manny is so little then he should stay down and not come up to 150 and fight margs then later this year go back to 150 to take on Cotto should he
you all were saying that there is no height class for Pwill
so shouldnt the same apply to weight?

Martinez is a natural 160 pound fighter
                      .
Don't be so ****ing daft. If Cotto was at 150 a week before the fight, he would never have had problems, ever, getting to 147 or even 140. Steward talks about Cotto struggling with the weight against Pac, but then says that he was at 150 a week before the Foreman fight....How naive are you? Losing five pounds in one week before the fight is a breeze. It means he would have never have struggled getting to 145 or 147 and we all know he did.

Martinez is not a natural 160 pound fighter. Out of 50 pro fights and in the game for nearly fifteen years now, he's had two fights at 160. Two. I don't know if you are just that thick or what, but Martinez also started out at 147 and spent the first four or so years at welterweight.

He's a natural and very easy 154 pound fighter. In previous years without the extra divisions he would have been a welterweight for most of his career, if not all of it. He made 147 easy in his welter days.
