i noticed he hasnt really ref'd any lucrative bouts... not a good sign.

Frank Garza is an extremely competent referee, I've known him for almost 25 years. He's reffed fights of mine not to mention the Abraham/Froch bout. This man is one class act. He helped mentor me through my refereeing and knows the game in and out. I am fully confident that Frank will handle this bout with clear professionalism and fairness to each fighter and corner. Frank brings pride to Detroit and it's boxing scene.........Rockin'

well he's got to be the first ref i have seen in an Abraham bout that wasn't calling low blows for him every 2 seconds so

Carl Froch done his bit before the fight though. He kept mentioning Abraham's shorts.
