"Draw" with Cintron LOL. Martinez beat the **** out of him, cintron is a cry baby *****. That fight was a disgrace, ANYBODY who watched it knows Martinez deserved the win.
And Dirrell didn't beat Froch, i dont care what the record says. That was a hometown decisions.
But don't get me wrong. I do LIKE Froch, he is a fearless warrior. His wins over Abraham, Pascal and Taylor were good. He's resume is on par or arguably even slightly better than Martinez.Comment

Froch's win over Pascal beats Martinez's win over Williams.
Froch's loss to Kessler was just as close as Martinez's loss to Williams.
Froch's win over Abraham beats Martinez's draw with Cintron.
Froch's win over Dirrell beats Martinez's win over Bunema.
Froch's win over Taylor beats any other win on Martinez's record.
Froch > Martinez.
- How is beating Pascal better than beating Williams? Where is Pascal on the P4P list?
- Froch lost to Direll, but got that hometown cooking.
- Martinez spanked Pavlik which is = to if not > than the Taylor win.
- The Cintron decision was a debacle of the highest order.
Froch will be lucky to get past Johnson........Comment

1.) Pascal is the linear champion at Light Heavyweight.- How is beating Pascal better than beating Williams? Where is Pascal on the P4P list?
- Froch lost to Direll, but got that hometown cooking.
- Martinez spanked Pavlik which is = to if not > than the Taylor win.
- The Cintron decision was a debacle of the highest order.
Froch will be lucky to get past Johnson........
2.) Regardless of the Cintron result, what fight on Carl's resume is it better than?
Name me 5 results on Sergio's resume that are equal to Carl's last 5.Comment

How about not lose to kessler. Or not get outclassed by a young kid and have to resort to roughhouse tactics. Wow froch looked exceptional against abraham so he must be better than sergio. I agree his overall resume is better but not recent.
Sergio's ko of williams >>>>>> Froch's win over abraham
Sergio's win over pavlik >>>>>>>> froch's win over Direll
Sergio's loss to williams >>>>>>>> froch's loss to kessler
Sergio's upcoming hbo ko victory and potential beatdown of cotto later this year will trump froch's win over johnson (maybe) and loss to ward in the super six finals.
See how easy that is. That's a little more current.Comment

His resume is better but Sergio is the superior fighter, skillwise.
Anywho what is this myth that Sergio spanked Pavlik? He won the fight yea but people seem to forget he was knocked down and lost many of the middle rounds. And only started to take over when Pavlik was cut.Comment

Oh please like you know what your talking about,
Sergios most notable wins are Pavlik and Williams- 2 overrated fighters. Just live with it. Which reminds me they both had trouble beating cintron.
Pavlik was damaged, taylor and bhop already set the plan on how to beat him
PaulWilliams is the most overrated fighter of all time, who doesnt even make any adjustment. He didnt learn anything from his previous encounter with sergio that is why most peope believe he will loose- that and how shietty he looks on the cintron fight
If he fights froch, pirog, bute, sergio will get annihilated- if you want to bet ahead id be glad to do so
Fact: Mayweather has the best boxing abilities today, and Pacquiao has the best athletic ability and best coach today.
Deal with it.Comment

Dirrell was deducted one point in the tenth round for excessive holding.
Blows: Froch 153/475 32%; Dirrell 105/315 33%.
Bout summary
In an exciting Showtime-televised fight which appeared as if it could go either way on the scorecards, Carl Froch remained unbeaten at 26-0 and retained his WBC super middleweight title by split decision over American challenger Andre Dirrell. Froch chased the southpaw Dirrell all night, and threw many punches 'into the wind' as the agile Dirrell constantly moved from side to side and slipped the majority of Froch's punches. Froch moved forward for all twelve rounds as the aggressor throwing many combinations, while Dirrell counterpunched extremely well and landed a number of powerful right hand leads. One point of controversy was that Froch frequently hit Dirrell behind the head, and was warned but not penalized by the referee. Dirrell was warned in the seventh, eighth and tenth; then the referee decided to take a point away from him for holding. In round twelve, Dirrell was warned by the referee for hitting Froch behind the head, when in fact it was Froch that had just hit Dirrell behind the head. Without the point deduction, the bout would have been closer. Most of these rounds were quiet defensive gems, causing the crowd to boo the lack of action at the end of every round. At the end of round eleven, Dirrell's grandfather told him in his corner "You better knock Froch out because they ain't never gonna give us a decision here." But the hometown crowd was quiet during rounds, so scoring appeared fair. In the post fight Showtime interview, the previously unbeaten Dirrell conceded he lost round twelve, but looked forward to fighting Arthur Abraham.Comment
