Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser: Mosley is Too Dangerous To Overlook

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is not considering, or evaluating any potential future challenges, says his adviser Michael Koncz. The boxer's complete focus is a May 7 title defense against former three division champion Shane Mosley. The fight between Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 knockouts) and Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs) takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Money Pacquiao. Hey what do Manny's last 3 opponents have in common (including Mosley)? All FORMER Champions.

And for the life of me I can't figure out how you almost knock somebody out. Either you do or you don't lol. There is no in between. Manny knocked down Marquez 3 times in the 1st round. I don't remember anyone saying he almost knocked Marquez out. Shane doesn't even knock Floyd down and yet "he damn near knocked Floyd out". Mmmk whatever makes Pacquiao and *******s sleep better at night. Manny knows this is a bull**** fight and him and his team is trying to justify it with Mosley's 2nd round performance. Completely ignoring the following 10 rounds. This is insulting.

At first I thought it was Arum and Roach Bull****tin mostly but now
Pac has joined the race of cow manure talkers. Talking about "Shane
damn near knocked Floyd out in the 2nd round" Ha ha ha ha! People
talking about Floyd is scared of this clown but he is talking about
what makes Mosley dangerous is that he "almost" KO'd Floyd Mayweather Jr
in the 2nd round? Didn't Shane get beat up after that round? "Top Prank"
        at it again.

I see this for the second time now so I have to ask:
When did Mosley fight in the Olympics?

Anyway, why on earth are they trying to convince everyone that Shane is something he's not. I mean, we all know that Mosley is gonna get a whooping of a lifetime. Now why is Pac acting like he's concerned about Mosley? I suppose it is for selling the fight/beatdown.

            Fair points.

Although Mosley isn’t what he used to be, I also don’t think he is a complete shell of it either. As well, as much as we don’t always want to acknowledge it as fight fans, the point that while a champion will fight anyone, boxing is still a business and thus he and his team has to look at all aspects of a fight is reasonable. I certainly would never begrudge another person for earning a dollar.

But with all of that said, I have little interest in this fight, regardless of the names involved. And that has not been the case for me regarding a Pacquiao fight for I don’t know how long.
