Which uppercut was the better punch?

It's hard to see the first one very well but Lewis does seem to be on the retreat and is off balance as 2ndround as noted.

The Holyfield one you've posted is a clearer image of the punch, but if you look carefully, the blow is more "wound up" and Holyfield appears to turn his head at the least quarter-second, as if anticipating it.

Vitali seems to just get smashed out of nowhere with a short, beautiful uppercut.

Overall I have to go for the Vitali one, but that's only because the punch doesn't appear to be quite as telegraphed.

This uppercut had to be what cut the roof of Vitali's mouth. It was mentioned in the run down that he mouth piece cut into his mouth and this must have been where it happened.

The one against Holyfield was a bit more because Lewis did not have to extend his arm as much. The power of the uppercut comes from the first thrust. Against Vitali he had to reach higher to connect.
