For all the *****ing and complaining about ticket sales, unless you want to buy a single ticket, there is no longer any 25 dollar seats left. I don't understand why GSP and King didn't open up other cheap sections for the fight to get even more fans to come. You're asking a lot out of a casual sports fans to throw down 60 dollars a pop.
Not enough cheap seats for Alexander/Bradley.

I just think they can only do so much in the Silverdome without making a ton of super ****ty seats.
Plus they would rather sell the better ones before opening up more cheap ones. -
Yeah, but I was looking at the seating map and only section 108(far right side) is 25 dollars. What about the other side? Why not make that side 25 dollars too? I just don't get it. 3500 cheap seats is better than 1750 and a whole empty section.Comment

True enough, that was probably the plan if they needed them.Comment

I don't know why they didn't make about 5000 of the seats $15. That would get more interest of the fight and make it easier to sell the more expensive tickets. Instead it's gonna be packed the first few rows ringside, and than a huge empty gulf of seats and then one little section in the far corner packed.Comment

Yeah, maybe they will open that other section up tomorrow. I just find it strange that they finally filled a whole section but then everything else in unavailable for the price range. The 55 dollar section is filling up pretty nicely too. I think people jumped the gun on the attendance a bit too early.Comment

Yeah, there is gonna be some sections that don't have **** in em. The middle section at 55 dollars is at about row 30 of a possible 45 rows, so it should be filled. I'm in 115 which is a section that I haven't even seen sold. I bought tickets pre sale so I'm thinking that I'm gonna have plenty of room to lounge around. Row 1 on top of it.I don't know why they didn't make about 5000 of the seats $15. That would get more interest of the fight and make it easier to sell the more expensive tickets. Also by doing that, the promoters could generate interest in The Dome as a boxing venue for future fights...I don't know why they didn't make about 5000 of the seats $15. I think they will probably end up selling the extra "cheap seats" for cheaper once the fight draws incredibly close.
However, I just hope that they get a number of fans in attendance, regardless.
Also, hoping for a good fight. Open the year up right, damnit.Comment
