It makes perfect sense, if you drink 32 ounces of water, piss in the toilet and then give them your second piss it will always come up clean. Your body is just expelling water. The military and some private organizations will mark you fail if your piss contains excessive amounts of water. Most organizations and businesses, however, just mark you as passed because it was negative for narcotic and/or other substances.

That is one of the many reasons I am against solely testing urine in sports

On a surprise inspection your screwed if the admin. stands and watches your junk while you piss. If he's not watching it is easy. Your going to have to piss more than a few times when you drink that much water. In baseball The admin doesn't watch you, he's outside an open door behind you. In boxing I'm not sure of the procedure. If you fail a test for a private industry or a scheduled probation test, your a moron.

cant believe they let you drink water to take a drug test..it dilutes the test..they use to make me drink a soft drink ..cause id automatically fail if to much water was in my system

That doesn't make any sense at all, it doesn't matter what type of fluids you take in -- it will not affect the test. If you're saying that they make you drink a soda because of the caffeine's property which makes it a diuretic, then that makes sense. Drinking too much water is NOT going to cause you to fail a drug test, it takes days for most drugs to leave your system. Besides, how would you fail it if you drank too much water? Would you pop positive for anything if you drank too much water??????
