If there weren't bigger fish to fry like Bradley-Alexander winner, at 147 against Berto and then possibly against Mayweather then I would have liked to see this fight as well.

I gotta agree only Khan's fanatics seem to have no interest in a rematch of a highly entertaining fight that saw a lot of ebb and flow

I understand the aspect of going after the winner of Saturday and that's very commendable on Khan's part, while I am not a fan I do respect him and his skillset

but for anyone to dismiss a rematch with Maidana seems more scared than anything

There wont be a rematch because Maidana isnt the "interim champion" any more so if if there were negotiations for it he would get about half of what he previously got and he would not accept it.

Khan avoided Maidana for a year. GBP needed to pay Maidana to not fight khan.

It was the fight of the year and that thing sell, but Khan won't take a rematch with Maidana, especially after that punishment. What would had happened if that corrupt referee wasn't there to save him in that round?

This fight would be too risky for Khan, Maidana knows what he is talking about. He will need to figh another top fighter to get to the top of the division, he is not the interim champion of the wba anymore. The loser of Devon/Bradley could be a good fight for him.

I'm big fans of both guys, but let's be real. If a rematch were to happen, Khan would outbox Miadana again. Maidana was clearly flustered because he couldn't match Khan's speed so he resorted to boxing dirty. The guy tried to elbow Amir and in the process almost hits Cortez, gets point deducted. The guy wouldn't even touch gloves with Amir, show's how much of a p*ssy he was. The guy was so flustered and so helpless, he tried to lure Khan into hitting him while his gloves were down and he tried to counter, but Amir was too quick for him to tag.

The only thing I gave for Maidana was that he found Khan's weakness on the later rounds and fed him uppercuts ever rounds after that. If the rematch were to happen I'm sure Roach would prepare him for those uppercuts.
