Hard hitting middleweight Rasheem "The Untouchable" Brown (16-2, 14 KOs), of Philadelphia, PA returns to the ring on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the Lagoon nightclub in Essington, PA. In addition to Brown, promoter PJ Augustine and 5 for Life Entertainment will feature unbeaten heavyweight Danny Mullarkey (5-0-1, 4 KOs), of nearby Upper Darby, PA, and welterweight Julio Aquino (16-2, 13 KOs), a Dominican who fights out of Passaic, NJ, in separate bouts. Matchmaker Jack Kreider is attempting to make a match for Eric "The Outlaw" Hunter (3-0, 2 KOs), of Philadelphia. Hunter, a featherweight with blazing handspeed, is a former amateur champion who has a bright future as a pro.

Rasheem Brown is a classy fighter gifted with heavy hands. After suffering a decision loss to world rated Aslanbek Kodzoev in Atlantic City and a razor thin split decision to the vastly more experienced Jose Spearman in mid-2004, Brown announced his retirement. He never really left the sport though, for Rasheem could be seen ringside at many Philadelphia-area fight cards. His brief retirement ended up being an eight month layoff, as Brown was soon knocking people out again. He has scored two straight KOs, including a two-round stoppage of Chris Troupe in his last bout, which was aired live on ESPN2.

At the Lagoon, Brown will face Anthony Greeley (7-19-2, 1 KO), of Monroe, LA in a six round bout. Don't let the soft record fool you. In his last bout, Greeley upset Mexico's Rocky Montoya, who was 25-1 at the time.

At first glance, Dan Mullarkey (5-0-1, 4 KOs) would appear to be more comfortable working behind a bar or on the docks. In reality, Mullarkey is a short, stout, wrecking-ball of a southpaw heavyweight who will work the body and head until his opponent falls. Mullarkey will be severely tested in this case, as he is evenly matched with Larry Robinson (5-1, 3 KOs), of Philadelphia in a six round bout. Locals have been talking excitedly about this fight, and nothing less than a grudge match war is expected.

Julio Aquino (16-2, 13 KOs) is a tough southpaw whose biggest win was a fourth round stoppage of former world title challenger Darryl Tyson in 2003. Aquino is currently riding a 12 bout winning streak. He will meet unbeaten upstart Reggie Holly (5-0, 2 KOs), of Washington, DC in a six round welterweight bout.

Glenn Turner (6-2-1, 2 KOs), of Philadelphia is a crowd pleasing cruiser who gives the full effort every time out. As a result, he is highly popular in the region. Turner will face Ray McLamore (3-8, 1 KO), of South Carolina. It won't be easy for Glenn. In 2004, McLamore lost by split decision to former world champion Lou "Honey Boy" Del Valle. Turner and McLamore will engage in a four round cruiserweight bout.

Rounding out the card will be a four round junior middleweight bout between Roberto Burgess (3-1, 2 KOs), of Philadelphia, and Rodney Green (2-1), of Wilson, NC.

Tickets for the outdoor show are priced at $30, $50, and $60 and can be purchased by calling 215-668-8619 or 215-725-2551.

Doors open at 6pm with the first bout going on at 7pm.
