Boxing was more of a hobby than a career for Sanders. Even his best win, the Klitschko fight, he took it on only 5 weeks notice. He never trained enough to build stamina or develop his skills much, basically he would just wait for openings and then swarm his opponents with combinations until they fell. The method worked well because he didn't look fast or dangerous, so he would catch them completely off-guard.

He had some of the best power I've ever seen on a heavyweight and blazing fast hands for a guy that big. One can only imagine what he could've done if he dedicated himself more because its pretty apparent that the guy got by with natural athleticism and barely any training.

If he trained properly he would've been a beast.
This pretty much sums him up.

True, even at his best the guy was flabby and had a beer guy with undefined arms. I certainly think both the Klits greatly underestimated him. Only Vitali's chin saved him from going the way of his brother.

Haha, The mustache he's rocking half-way thought that vid was hilarious!

Corrie Sanders is awesome! He so unassuming in the ring. How can anyone not underestimate him... but then bam! The left from nowhere.

Huge set of balls, and a heart to match.

I wish that the Sanders- W Klitschko rematch had happened. Few years back Sanders made a comeback but was KO'd in the first round by some bum and negated any chance of that.

The guy fighting Arreola this friday is Sanders like. He is a southpaw ko artist, he is in shape but he does have a weaker chin. When he ko's the slippery nipple you'll know the name "Minnesota Ice" Joey Abell.
