Joe Calzaghe believes James DeGale (9-0, 7KOs) has the power to beat George Groves (11-0, 9KOs), should a fight happen between the two unbeaten 168-pounders. DeGale's promoter Frank Warren is trying to close a deal for the fight. The retired super middleweight king gives DeGale, an Olympic gold medal winner, the slight edge to win, but he doesn't give him a big advantage. Calzaghe expects Groves, being the underdog, to raise his game for the doubters.

I would be amazed if this gets signed, I would have thought that DeGale would go for the European or Groves would try for the EU belt which Magee has/had. Its probably closer than people think because Smith was limited.

Wow, not only was Calzaghe a great fighter (unlike Khan) but he insulted J-Lo, perhaps boxers do have some brain cells to rub together after all. LOL!
