Pacquiao-***** meeting in the works
I found this posted on another forum, hopefully it wasn't posted here already. This would be absolutely great for boxing and Pacquiao if its true.
MANILA, Philippines — US President Barack ***** and Manny Pacquiao have two things in common: They both love basketball and are left-handed.And what a better time for them to get acquainted when Hall of Fame boxing promoter Bob Arum brings the fighting congressman from Saragani to Washington as part of a five-city promotional tour hyping his May 7 showdown with Shane Mosley.Friends in high places of Arum are actually working hard to arrange a meeting between the US President and Pacquiao when the traveling circus gets to Washington, D.C.Pacquiao and Mosley are actually kicking off the press tour on Feb. 10 at the Beverly Hills Hotel followed by stops in Las Vegas, New York, Washington and San Francisco.But Arum told the Bulletin he might have to cancel the San Francisco leg “to stay another day in Washington.”The Washington stop will bring Pacquiao and Mosley to the National Press Club (The Place Where News Happens) where dignitaries and sophisticated clients from around the world have converged the past 100 years.The National Press Club is just a couple of blocks away from the White House where Arum is hoping to set up a meeting with President ***** with the help of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.Last November, Pacquiao took a break from his training at the Wild Card in Hollywood to attend a pep rally for Reid in Las Vegas.
