Unbeaten bantamweight prospect McJoe Arroyo, who beat Eduardo Meléndez by knockout last Saturday on the undercard of an event presented by PR Best Boxing in a Bayamón priosn, suffered a fractured jaw and lost a tooth. Under the rules of the Purto Rican Boxing Commission, he has to rest between 60 to 90 days and then get evaluated by a surgeon.

That's odd, the news yesterday here in Puerto Rico was that Arroyo was headbutted on his jaw & after the fight he wasn't complaining but it was the Doctor that recommended that Arroyo get some x-rays of his jaw just to make sure it wasn't serious.. I guess it was, but nothing else has been said here on the Island since yesterday..
