Do you know the exact number of votes he needs to get his bout televised?

Underappreciated by some. Overrated by others. Still, a very clever and entertaining fighter. I hope he's set up fairly well and can keep his head on right.

Hope he goes out with a win.

        Augustus will be missed!

Good luck to you Augustus. You were a great entertainer and wowed us fans for many years! You were one of a kind and will certainly be missed! Here is a guy who lost a lot of fights, but ALWAYS gave us the fans, our money's worth! He fought hard and was very skilled! I wish you the best!

I remember he missed out on his shot against Randall Bailey in what might have been an eliminator to face Urango, because he was on the wrong side of decision against Gato Figueroa that he deserved. But that matchup gave us a KO of year though.

I hope he can show some of his old school moves to cap off his career.

Regardless of what occurs in the ring on Saturday, Vernon Paris wil NEVER be an Augustus.
76 professional prize fights in a modern era career. Wow. He has provided a multitude of pugilistic thrills that are remarkable.
How many men dare put their wares on display that often?
                  Certainly not a Mayweather.
If HBO does not display this contest they are a disgrace and Showtime will deserve all of the prosperity it can gather.

He gets on the ATG list for entertainment value. No fear. Take any fight any time. Warrior worth every penny every time.
