What's the big deal about all the fuss here?...it is a simple congratulatory protocol. But at least credit is being given where it is due.

I agree completely. He probably understands too without the Mayweather fight that he wasn't going to win FOTY this year. And everyone knows Martinez deserved it more. He not only beat the middleweight champion, in his rematch with Williams he clocked him good. Martinez deserved it this year and the Pacman realized it. This is a classic example of one of the best giving his respect to another fighter who is one of the best. Nothing wrong with that!

When you run the sport of boxing (P4P king and Cash Cow) you gotta let someone else get something too sometimes. Even though what Pacquiao did in 2010 has never been done before and will never be done again. And he made more in that fight then Martinez has made in his entire career but whatever.

How exactly do you know that Pac hasn't said any of it just because Koncz talked for him? I swear people are finding new ways to descredit Pac. It's not surprising that Pac is showing class and congratulating another fighter who deserved to win FotY while other people aren't acknowledging that gesture. Go figure.
