Look *******s, we, the Red K Brigade, didn't come here to crap on your parade. The 'Pac is classy' parade, right? This post started out with Pac's mouthpiece saying Pac congratulated Martinez. That's fine, or classy as you called it. Only when you ******s started changing the thread into a "Pac deserves it more than Martinez do" idiocy that we feel that it contradict the spirit of 'classiness' that you think pac possessed! How can any of you say that we're hating on Pac, when it's your idea that he deserved the award more than Martinez do that we disagree strongly, not your God Pac. And how the hell in the did Floyd get into the argument when none of us metioned him. Why don't you start calling us 'Martinez' fanboys instead of '*****s', bcoz clearly we are arguing for Martinez!... ooops on to work.

I agree on both accounts. I’m not a huge Pacquiao fan, but I do have a lot of respect for the class he shows in and out of the ring.

1. i merely corrected you on your statement that the hate started when someone said Pac deserves the award more than Martinez. as i said earlier, the hate was there while people were even giving Martinez props for his win.

right on. pac hating on this thread actually started with post#5, for no reason at all. just plain unadulterated hate. all posts before that were just giving pac props for being a good sport.

Pac just needs to beat Pavlik now to show it is not hard to do. He beat Margarito better than Sergio did, now all he needs is Pavlik. To show it is an overated win for Sergio. Did Sergio even beat Pavlik as good as BH did?

Anyone can land a one off punch like Sergio did against PW. That dont make you a fighter of the year. If Sergio fought PW again it would more than likely go the distance an be a very close fight again. Or Segio could get sparked this time.

When you run the sport of boxing (P4P king and Cash Cow) you gotta let someone else get something too sometimes. Even though what Pacquiao did in 2010 has never been done before and will never be done again. And he made more in that fight then Martinez has made in his entire career but whatever.

Pac deserved fighter of the year. Anyone could potentially land a ko punch like Sergio did on PW. I doubt Sergio could pulverised Margarito like Pac did for 12 rounds. So it should have went to Pac.

Nah, Pac deserved it. He has shut out nearly his last 5 opponents. But congratulations to Sergio, he stole and robbed and mugged Pac of it.

Funny how I do kinda agree with your post. If Sergio slayed the bigger guys like Lucian Bute or Andre Ward and performed like he did against Williams, then he is my choice. I think this is more of the judges getting tired of Pacquiao always winning and worried that it may be bad for the sport to have someone get all the recognition. Nevertheless, it was an amazing year for Sergio, so there's no beef in it? Outside of Pac, he's the only other fighter that amazed the fans. Cong**** to Sergio!

Pac deserved it. Sergio wouldnt outpoint people the way pac did and does. Sergio would struggle with Margarito if they fought today still. He would you would think do better this time than he did last time against margartio and beat him. But he wouldnt perform like Pac did and does.

I get what you're saying. I can also collect threads/posts of fans of another fighter and generalize them. As I have stated, there are extremists from different fanbases, yet you choose to pick out one of them. *****, I was pulling for Martinez and knew he'd check P Wills chin. I am glad Martinez got the KO and fighter of the year. Not many here are arguing that Martinez KO'ing a wild looping puncher with no D (P Will).. is good for the sport. It was a ridiculous KO and good for the fans. The problem is you are lashing out for no reason.

Sergio knows Pac deserved it but wont be complaing that he himself has got it. He saw how Pac dealt with margarito and knows he couldnt even deal with Margarito now like Pac did. These are the same people that were beefing about people speaking
up about Pac fan's hating on Martinez issue. I see a lil "Congratulations
in there with a touch of "Martinez really don't deserve it" hints tossed
around and how easy his opponents were. Funny how the people who
said that I was overreacting are the same ones that were being a lil
salty in their posts. Look how many times "Hugh Grant" said Martinez
didn't deserve it on a Martinez congratulation thread.
