It has been 22 years since Holmes lost to Michael Spinks in a controversial decision and afterward uttered the words he would live to regret.

"If you want to get technical about it, Rocky Marciano couldn't carry my jockstrap," bellowed Holmes, who was frustrated at losing to Spinks and being unable to match Marciano's record of winning 49 professional fights without a defeat.

Holmes, now 58, said he is still feeling a nation's wrath.

Well, PBF is a better and more dominant boxer than holmes ever was. You can't pretend everyone is a fan, larry.

holmes has a better resume as far as competition and fought all da best heavyweights out there, all the big name heavyweights...floydie boy may have won 5 diffferent division belts but his resume dont compare to holmes...

and the current floydie boy rather fight guys one division lower than him instead of him fighting guys one division above him...so obvious he want none of pac...even his dad said he dont want floydie boy to fight pac...considering you have all these other boxers wanting a piece of pac.

floydie boy said he took the fight with marquez cuz marquez called him out...pac and team pac has been calling floydie boy out for over a year and floydie boy is all quiet, nowhere to be found or heard, hahaha

No he didn't. He missed out on plenty of WBA champs (#1 Ring rated contenders), and turned into a real cherry-picker late in his reign when he was approaching Marciano's record.

Holmes would've been crucified on the message boards if they were around then.
